Membership is currently open and we are accepting new member applications.
Shotgun sports are fun, very challenging and breaking clays can be enjoyed entire family. Seymour Fish and Game offers two, well maintained, combination trap/skeet fields.
We are also very proud to offer evening, as well as daytime, shooting hours for the skeet and trap shooting enthusiast. Our evening hours allows members to shoot during the week keeping weekends free for family, other activities or more shooting.
Other club activities include an annual game dinner and family outing. We have trap and skeet leagues each year and there is always someone to help a new shooter if they want some instruction. Take a look at our events page to see all the club activities.
Shotgun sports can be enjoyed by the whole family and our youth program promotes safety, above all else. We provide young shooters an opportunity to, safely, learn the shooting sports and develop eye hand coordination used in all other sports.
Interested in becoming a member? Stop by during any of our normal shooting hours to take a tour, meet some members and fill out an application. If you want to shoot, be sure to bring eye and ear protection or it can be purchased at the front desk.

Membership Requirements
In order to join Seymour Fish & Game you must meet the following requirements
- 18 years-old or older
- Hold one of three certifications from the State of Connecticut
- Permit to carry pistols and revolvers
- Shotgun/Long Gun Eligibility Certification
- Ammunition Purchase Eligibility Certification
- Sponsored by a current Regular or Life member
What does it cost to join?
All new members pay a one time $250 initiation fee. In addition, annual membership dues are $235 for a full calendar year and are prorated based on the month you join, including the month you become a member. Below is the monthly prorated dues schedule for new members.
