Members in good standing may request a 2026 Fishing Permit by completing the form below.

Fishing permits are issued annually and are required to fish on Club property. All permits will be reviewed and distributed in a batch in early April prior to the start of the season.

Please note: Fishing permits are available only to current Seymour Fish & Game Club members in good standing. Submission of this form does not guarantee issuance of a permit. If you are not yet a member, you must complete the membership process before a fishing permit can be approved

Our pond is maintained by our members, and permit holders are encouraged to participate in seasonal clean up efforts and other volunteer opportunities to help keep the property safe, clean, and enjoyable for everyone.

We look forward to a great fishing season.

Easter's over, but the hams are still up for grabs.

The Left Over Ham Shoot is about as old-school as it gets. Six shooters line up at 35 yards, each fires one club-provided shell at a paper target, and the shooter who punches the most holes inside the 6-inch scoring circle takes home a ham. No fancy format, no complicated rules. Just one shot and a little bit of luck.

Rounds move fast, so there's plenty of opportunity to shoot more than once. And since the club provides the ammo, everyone is on a level playing field. All you need is a 12-gauge shotgun and five bucks.

    Tuesday, April 14, 2026  |  3:00 PM to 6:00 PM

    • $5.00 per entry (ammo included)
    • Open to members and non-members
    • Six shooters per round, one shot per shooter
    • 12-gauge shotgun required (full choke or smaller, no turkey chokes)
    • Win a ham for each round you take
    • Multiple entries allowed if space permits
    • Shooters must be 12+ with some prior shooting experience
    • Pre-registration recommended; walk-ups welcome

Stick around after the Ham Shoot for the Seymour Survivor Series: Last Person Standing, starting at 6:00 PM. Two events, one great night at the club. This is event #3 in our 2026 monthly guest shoot series, and everyone is welcome.

One miss and you're done. How long can you survive?

The Seymour Survivor Series kicks off with Last Person Standing, a 25-yard trap challenge with a simple premise: break your targets or go home. Shooters fire 10 targets per round. Run them all clean and you stay in. Miss one and you're out, replaced by the next challenger. The shooter who strings together the longest consecutive run of broken targets earns the Last Person Standing Trophy.

It's a format that rewards consistency under pressure. New shooters rotate in as others fall, so the field is always changing. You can re-enter if you get knocked out, but only your first run counts for the trophy. Come ready, stay sharp, and see how far your streak goes.

    Tuesday, April 14, 2026  |  6:00 PM until finished

    • $5.00 per entry
    • Open to members and non-members
    • Standard trap format from the 25-yard line
    • Prize: Last Person Standing Trophy
    • Ties resolved by sudden-death shoot-off
    • Bring your own ammo: 7½, 8, 8½, or 9 shot; 1⅛ oz max; no steel or magnums
    • 12 gauge or smaller (O/U, side-by-side, semi-auto, pump)
    • Shooters must be 12+ with some prior shooting experience
    • Pre-registration recommended; walk-ups welcome

Arrive early for the Left Over Ham Shoot starting at 3:00 PM, then stay for the Survivor Series at 6:00 PM. Two events, one great night under the lights. This is event #3 in our 2026 monthly guest shoot series, and everyone is welcome.
